Instead, he mastered the long putter sideways—because why not? And when it came to chipping, he said, “Forget the Texas Wedge; I’m bringing hometown pride to the fairway,” and the Wayland Wedge was born. It wasn’t conventional, but it worked—and it became his legendary trademark

It wasn’t traditional, but it worked—and it became his signature style. That philosophy is what inspired us to create this brand: for golfers who may not follow the textbook approach but love the game and play it their own way.
