The idea for Wayland Wedge was born from a family tradition of inventive golf. My dad, a passionate player from Wayland, MA, wasn’t a great chipper, so he’d putt from the fairway instead—a move famously known as the “Texas Wedge.” But he made it his own, calling it the Wayland Wedge. It wasn’t traditional, but it got the job done, and it became a symbol of his unique approach to the game.
Wayland Wedge celebrates that same spirit of individuality. Whether you’re mastering your own unorthodox techniques or simply enjoying the camaraderie of the course, our products are designed for those who bring their own flair to the fairways.
